IRONKIND wholesale terms of sale

Last updated: 14 October 2026

These terms apply when a business buys IRONKIND products from us through our wholesale portal or by email. If you are buying for yourself as a consumer, please buy at ironkind.com instead, where our consumer terms apply.

1. Who we are

IRONKIND LTD ("IRONKIND", "we", "us"), registered in England and Wales, company number 16876360. Registered office: Bank Farm Buildings, Chester Road, Chester, CH3 6HJ. VAT number: GB508444296. Email: hello@ironkind.com.

"You" means the business that has applied for, or holds, a wholesale account.

2. Your account

  • Applications are reviewed by us and we may accept or decline them at our discretion.
  • Please give us accurate details and keep them up to date. Tell us if your business address, contact or VAT details change.
  • You sign in with a one-time link we email to you. Keep your email account secure and do not forward the link. You are responsible for orders placed from your account.
  • We may suspend or close an account, for example for non-payment, misuse or breach of these terms.

3. Products and prices

  • Our current products, pack sizes and wholesale prices are shown in the wholesale portal. Prices exclude VAT, which we add at the rate that applies (currently 20%).
  • Wholesale prices apply to the products listed in the portal. We may change prices or products at any time. A change applies to orders placed after we tell you; it does not change an order already accepted.
  • You are free to set your own resale prices.

4. Minimum order

The minimum order is GBP 100.00 before VAT, for any mix of products and flavours. We may change the minimum by telling you before you order.

5. Orders

  • An order you place in the portal is an offer to buy. We accept it when we email you to confirm it (or dispatch it). We may decline an order, for example if stock is not available, the details look wrong, or your account is overdue.
  • We will tell you straight away if we cannot supply part of an order.
  • To change or cancel an order, email us before it is dispatched. We cannot change an order after it has been dispatched.

6. Payment

  • First order: pro forma. We email a pro forma invoice. You pay by bank transfer, quoting the order number, or by card using the secure payment page in your account (we do not add a card charge), and we dispatch once the payment reaches us. Once paid, we send you a VAT invoice.
  • Later orders: 14 days. We send a VAT invoice when the order is dispatched. Payment is due within 14 days of the invoice date, by bank transfer to the account on the invoice, quoting the invoice number, or by card using the secure payment page in your account (we do not add a card charge).
  • If an invoice is not paid on time we may charge statutory interest and compensation under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998, hold or refuse further orders, and put your account back on pro forma.
  • We may ask for payment before dispatch on any order, for example for a new account or a large order.
  • You may not deduct or set off amounts from an invoice without our written agreement.

7. Delivery

  • Delivery is free on orders of GBP 250.00 or more before VAT. Below that we charge GBP 7.50 plus VAT.
  • We aim to dispatch within 3 working days of receiving cleared payment (pro forma orders) or of accepting the order (14-day orders). Delivery dates we give are estimates, not guarantees.
  • We deliver to the address on your order within the UK only. We use Royal Mail or another carrier of our choice, and send a tracking number where one is available.
  • Risk in the goods passes to you when they are delivered. Ownership passes to you when we have been paid in full.

8. Checking your delivery

  • Please check each delivery when it arrives. Tell us within 3 working days if anything is missing or damaged, with your order number and a photo, and we will replace the items or credit you, whichever we choose in each case.
  • If the outer packaging is damaged when you receive it, tell the carrier at the time if you can.

9. Shelf life, storage and traceability

  • Every product carries a best-before date and batch code. Our delivery note and invoice show the batch and best-before date for your order. We deliver stock with at least 6 months of shelf life remaining.
  • Store products as the label says, rotate stock (first in, first out) and do not sell products after their best-before date.
  • Food businesses must be able to trace where products came from and went. Keep your purchase records with batch information for the period the law requires, so that we can work together quickly if there is ever a safety issue.
  • If we need to recall or withdraw a product, we will tell you and you will stop selling the affected batch straight away and follow our instructions.

10. Faulty or incorrect goods and returns

  • If goods are faulty, not as described or not what you ordered, tell us promptly and we will replace them or credit you.
  • Because these are food products, we do not accept returns of unsold stock or change-of-mind returns unless we agree in writing.

11. Selling our products

  • You may resell our products in their original packaging with the labels intact (including allergen and ingredient information).
  • Please describe our products accurately. Do not make health, medical or weight-loss claims about them. Use only the claims on our packs and in our product sheets, for example: 25g plant protein per serving, 5g fibre per serving, 5.6g BCAA per serving, free from dairy, sugar, soy, gluten, gums and lecithins. UK advertising rules apply to anything you publish; if you are paid or rewarded to promote, you must clearly label it as an ad.
  • You may use our name and logo to say that you stock IRONKIND, following any brand guidelines we send you. We may ask you to change or remove something that misleads or harms our brand.
  • Nothing in these terms gives you exclusivity for any area or product.

12. Our liability

  • Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not allow us to limit.
  • Subject to that, our total liability to you for any order is limited to the price you paid for that order, and we are not liable for indirect loss such as lost profit, lost sales or loss of reputation.

13. Events outside our control

We are not responsible for a delay or failure caused by something beyond our reasonable control, such as supplier problems, transport disruption, extreme weather, strikes or an outage of a service we rely on. We will tell you and do our best to deliver as soon as we can.

14. Your information

We use your details to run your account, as set out in our privacy policy (www.ironkind.com/privacy-policy). If you give us details of your staff or customers, you must be entitled to do so. We do not send marketing emails about our consumer products to wholesale contacts unless they have agreed.

15. General

  • These terms, together with the order and any price list we send you, are the whole agreement between us about the products.
  • We may update these terms. The version in force when you place an order applies to it. We will tell you about important changes by email.
  • If part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest still applies.
  • These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction.
